Following the success of The Business Exchange (TBE) award scheme, the Techies, we’re launching new awards for 2024, open to all businesses and organisations across the areas that TBE serves, Bath & Somerset and Swindon & Wiltshire.
Over the past six years, The Techies Awards Swindon & Wiltshire have been a great success and built a reputation as one of the region’s most respected award schemes. That’s why we’ve decided to build on this success and create something new and fresh in the spirit of the Techies.
Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “The TBE Awards will be an ethical award scheme which is all about promoting our region and celebrating the amazing people and businesses here.
“Like the Techies, the TBE Awards will be implementing a strict judging process, with a well-respected judging panel. When the judges meet, we will record the scores and keep them on file for transparency and to provide feedback, if requested.
“Our entrants, finalists and winners will all be important, and we will be working hard to create an inclusive awards night where tickets are affordable and whole teams can come.
“All finalists will receive certificates and winners will receive awards and certificates which will be paid for by sponsorship.”
All finalists and winners will get lots of media coverage including access to free photos from awards night, podcast appearances video appearances, print opportunities and more.
Awards Night itself will follow the style of the Techies. It won’t be another boring, chicken dinner, black tie affair. Our past events have been compared to those hosted in Silicon Valley – we’ll take that as a compliment!
The TBE Awards will go live for entries in the spring and the awards night celebration will be held on Thursday 17th October 2024.
